It has been a very long time since I last posted in this blog. Personally, I honestly don’t even remember my last post but I believe I do have a good reason to justify my disappearance. You see, I made a life-changing transformation from being a single guy to a happily married man. Yes, I am married :D

Anyway, I recently came back from my honeymoon in the United States where I went to New York, LA and took a road trip from LA to Las Vegas before finishing things off in New York again. We really enjoyed our time in the States, especially since it was my first visit since 1997.

The weather in New York was unfortunately not so great, during our two stays there it was raining most of the time. The lousy weather did not prevent us from enjoying our time there. We managed to walk in Times Square, 5th Avenue, Madison and Park Avenues as well as crossing Central Park. Brunch in the Meatpacking District is also a nice experience.

I have always been the athletic type, but always had a problem. The sports I like are weekend sports. So it was always hard to stay in shape. I had to go to the gym and lift weights run and do some cardio. Thats all great but the problem is this kind of exercise is boring. I would go to the gym for a month or two max before i get fed-up.

Well thats until i joined Sidekick Academy. At Sidekick your not just physically training your body your also learning Jujitsu and Modern Taekwondo. You’ll compete against the other people with you in the class and as you improve new belts will be awarded to you. Sidekick solved the problem of boring exercise and actually is motivating me to do more and improve day after day.

AbdulMuhsin Al-Babtain is the coach there. He is a black belt in Jujitsu and a forth degreed black belt in Modern Teakwondo. He’s very professional and nice, the kind of coach everyone wants. I’ve been going to Sidekick Academy since October and let me tell you it gets better with time. I got my green belt a couple of days ago :) Hopefully one day I’ll get the black belt. I would advise anyone looking to learn martial arts, self defense, or just looking to stay fit in a fun way to go visit ?Sidekick just take a look try it out I’m sure you’ll like it.

Remember him? remember this post [Link] come march 18th it will be a year since we bought him and still he is nameless and does not say a word!! one person in the Diwaniya claim’s that he heard him say a word but all of us in the Diwaniya do not believe him.

I dont know why he is this way we give gourmet sunflower seeds and the best tap water in kuwait but he is still sad as you can see in the picture. if you know a kasco expert please advise us we need your help.

That title was used in an article in today’s Al Qabas newspaper. The reason for this title is because it was rumored that Oprah recently said: “In Kuwait, Egyptians build the houses, the Indians clean the streets, the Filipinos raise their children, the Indonesians cook the food and the Americans handle defense while they just act like Paris Hiltons.”

I tried googling this and the only relevant result is from a forum post in Oprah’s official site titled ‘Kuwaitis Say Back

Now I don’t know if she really said this and I actually have trouble believing that Oprah could say something as inconsiderate as this.

What do you guys think?
Can anyone find any proof or refute this claim?

I just finished washing my hands… I turned to the tissue dispenser and started to wipe away the water… I suddenly heard an evil hiss and immediately felt a burning pain in my eyes and throat. I involuntarily closed my eyes and started coughing. The searing pain thankfully subsided in a matter of seconds and went back to wash my face and studied my teary, bloodshot eyes. I turned back to the tissue dispenser to see what happened.

No need to worry… the source of my problem is not a spitting cobra, it is this:

Apparently, some genius decided to place that air freshener in a spot that could cause the unfortunate few (namely me) some discomfort. That air freshener does look menacing there, as if guarding the dispenser.

I am just lucky that my glasses bore the brunt of the sneak attack… ah yes, the advantages of being myopic! :)

The unfortunate part is that for the rest of the day I have a thick smell of peaches following me wherever I go.

What a way to start the week after a long holiday.

Over the past few months I have realized that some bloggers were attacked when they post about THEIR opinions. Seriously, blogs are a writer’s personal space and they can say just about anything. They are the ones who set up their websites and, as a result, can maintain it as they see fit. I have seen many blog posts that I might seriously disagree with but I don’t go and attack the writer or question his/her intelligence. The reason is because I know that it is their free space and they can voice their opinions about whatever they want as long as they don’t attack others.

Most haters would hide behind the idea of freedom of speech when they attack bloggers. Now let me get this straight, does this mean that I can publicly attack a person or, as previously said, question his/her intelligence? Is this really freedom of speech?

Hi everyone! Ive been away on vacation since june. I dicided to take a vacation from everything including the blog… But I’m back in the heat and dust that i missed so much :) stay tuned…

Yeah you guessed it… my PC went to ’sleep’ again. I mean 14 million KD in over an hour of trading is just ridiculous. I hope things get better in the next two hours.

The weather is bad, I’m sick AND I overslept today. Perfect ending to the perfect week.

Sub7an Allah, the weather seems to get worse as each weekend approaches…

Another pointless post… you were warned

Last week www.arsenal.com posted pictures of Arsenal’s first training session! The intensity of the training and watching the players in their new training kits definetly put every Gunner fan in a BULLISH mood! This will be our season!! I think everybody at the Asrenal camp this yr including the fans are ready to pull up their sleeves and get the job done!!

Wake up! Clean, dress up, fix and groom the ’stache (its a must) hop in my car head to work..favorite part of my morning ritual is passing by the good old Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Co. and pick up my usual order of eggs ben, freshly brewed coffee for YIG and myself and AJK’s a.k.a Chaich’s boring turkey sandwich without tomato and lettuce, if the mood is ok and no woman is trying to kill me in the street pop the sound system and listen to some 3amaari tunes on the way to the office to cap off a great ride to work where all the funky stuff happens.

I get to my office unwind open up the paper to see what the hell is going on in this crazy world we live in while munching away on my eggs ben and listening to Chaich colorfully and loudly explaining to YIG what happened to him yesterday evening, and out of nowhere comes our dear old friend and colleague AMB who looks like somebody dragged him out of bed complaining how he didn’t get enough sleep. All of this going on while i sip on my warm tasty coffee telling my friend YIG that there’s something different about the Coffee Bean’s coffee it has this delightfully spicy or zingy taste in the end which is quite exciting in the early hours of the morning i must say..after all this commotion stops i sit there alone in my office enjoying my coffee while waiting for waleed to give me a call and tell me the latest joke or prank he did because as all you readers might have noticed waleed is the trouble maker of the group then snap back into reality and treat myself to a stack load of work…ahhh good old Coffee Bean never disappoints…

Thanks to a colleague at work im currently having the time of my life! I was supposed to start a pretty strict diet today due to lots of fat and bad comments from family and friends but i couldnt resist but try some home made Singaporian drink/ice cream/slush. I had asked her to get me this drink months ago but you know with the price of mangos giong up and… I better just keep quite about that. Anyway she finally did surprise me with the drink and its really tasty! It consists of chunks of mango and strawberry juice i guess :s Its absolutely delicious and i guess it would be even better to try when its frozen…

I was watching MTV yesterday and came across Enrique Iglesias’s song “Love to see you cry”. While watching I got curious to knowing who the lady in the clip was. Her acting was amazing and being so bored at work I decided to google her as i am always interested in finding diffirent acting talents. Shes Mexican born in 1977 and married to Lebanese NBA superstar Rony Seikaly. In 2005 she filed for divorce….

Important facts:

-Judge for Miss Universe 2004

-Appeared on the covers of many important magazines such as Elle and Glamour

-5 times in Sports Illustrated

-Almost got board the TWA Flight 800 which fell in the Atlantic but got off at the last moment.

Anway please rate out of 10

I give her 10/10 purley due to her acting skills

I want to buy a new phone and i dont know which phone i should buy i want to get a iphone but after trying it out i dont think it suite’s me.  so can anybody recommend a phone i already have a blackberry because i carry two phone’s i need to replace my other phone because im getting really annoyed from my N96 so please help me out.

In a previous post, we mentioned an auction website where you can buy a $200 ITunes Gift Card for $40 or less.

We were surprised with such discounted prices and were always trying to figure out how the sellers made the margins with such a low price. It was obvious during that time that those cards were not unwanted gift vouchers since it is unrealistic for that many customers getting rid of their vouchers at a deep-discount price. We have never thought of a Key Generator that creates these codes either especially since it was available for a couple of months and Apple would have immediately noticed and changed there certificate generator.

Unfortunately, Chinese hackers were able to reverse-engineer iTunes Gift Certificate Algorithm and were selling them as low as $3 per $200 Gift Card Vouchers.  This means, the seller is making $37 on each card which cost $3 . I am sure that many of the readers have purchased those cards at these rates. Regretfully, the cards are not legitimate and now you the lowest card could be found in ebay averaging $120 for the $200 gift voucher certificate. The price is still reasonable, but not such a good price for those who bought them for $30 with a possibility of them being illegitimate.

I usually have a really hard time waking up in the morning. Fahad R., in a previous post mentioned the same problem.  For those who sleep late at night, I am sure they have a hard time waking up.

I know that my only solution would be an AMAZINGLY LOUD alarm clock. Does anyone recommend a good one?

P.S. I am currently using the loudest ring tone in Nokia and Blackberry together along with a Casio Radio which plays FM. None are working! I guess I’m pressing snooze while I’m sleeping without noticing. I need an alarm which is difficult to shut off and extremely loud!!!
Thanks!
