This is a non-Profit organization Give a Little Take a Lot ( GLTA) this what they said:

“Hello

I am writing to you as one of the establishers of a non-profit organization called GLTA which stands for Give a Little Take A lot.

Our main objective is to spread awareness on the importance of charity work in Kuwait through holding and organizing small charity events and involving ourselves in community service. We believe that if people give a little of their time and efforts to any one in need, they will get a lot of good things in return throughout their lives.

Our current project is holding a Carnival for KALD, Kuwait Association for Learning Differences; we named it KALD Carnival. It is a carnival for students with learning difficulties, ages from 8 to 17 years old . GLTA’s main responsibility is to arrange the event from A to Z. Therefore, we’re in need of young motivated volunteers to help us organize this event to the fullest. The volunteers do not have to be committed 24/7, if some attended one or two of our meetings and gave us some creative ideas for that day, this would be fairly enough. Each volunteer will receive an official certificate of volunteering from Mrs. Amaal Al Sayer, the founder of KALD.

We would really appreciate it if you could announce that on your blog to help us spread the word. I Love Vespa’s and they did not let me down they did the only four seater two wheel motor cycle its genius a four seater bike i love it!! imagine going around with four people in a scooter!! but id bet it will be realy hard to drive imagine taking a u-turn on this bike the driver woud have to take the weight of all four passenger’s.

Update: i thought this will be for sale but it turns out to be a one-off built by vespa south africa and will be used for marketing reasons its a shame cause if they built it i would be their first customer

The weather the past couple of days is simply pleasant, we sit around outside enjoy our tea and coffee chatting and laughing with friends and see people whizzing away on the 4th ring road and we usually see the occasional strange car pass by or maybe the often traffic jams that clog the 4th ring… but what strikes us the most is the genuine disrespect that drivers have for ambulance cars on our streets today. A couple of friends and my self have been constantly observing this phenomena of disrespect to ambulance drivers where people simply do not even attempt to make way for ambulances bearing in mind that every second counts and some one else out there might be in dire need of medical help but when it comes to police cars oh no!!! its a different story because mr police man may slap you with a ticket! …

Going green is something we really have to look in to these days, the Eco friendly lifestyle currently is finding its way in many societies around the world and positive signs are reflected by seeing how this new life style is embraced by people from all walks of life.  Unfortunately  environmental interest is not very popular in our region due to the lack of awareness and information provided regarding the immense consequences that can and are occurring from climate change, however one must commend the efforts of some of our corporate businesses in Kuwait for starting green campaigns such as Zain and NBK to spread awareness and the effort of different Kuwaiti youth organizations for also contributing positively for the environmental cause.

Keeping that in mind and since we have a channel where we can reach many people through our blog it is only right that we also  do our part by spreading the word on enjoying a green life style by doing some real easy things that will have major positive results so check the list out and spread the word:

1) Save energy and wear and tear on your hardware by shutting down your computer at night.

2) An easy way to clean green is to turn the dial on your washing machine to cold. Most loads don’t need hot water, and 90% of the energy used by washing machines goes into heating.

3) Pay your bills online! you save paper, time, gas, and cut back on emissions from the ride back and forth.

4) Stop using disposable bags – order some reusable bags.

5) Turn off lights when you leave the room. (this is a real easy one where lots of ppl here in Kuwait just don’t bother!)

Now these are 5 easy tips where all our readers, relatives, and friends can simply do so lets take it one step at a time and try it out and do our part to raise awareness  …
