RIM are prepping up for the release of the latest version of their “Bold” line, the latest version is the 9800 slider which also packs the new OS6 platform, the cool thing about the new phone is that it has both a touch screen and a qwerty keypad take a look at the video below for a quick video walk through.  The phone is expected to be released in the U.S. in the coming month….

In the good old days during our childhood, everything was simple, the above cartoon is a simple depiction of the fight between Good and Evil, nothing more. Kids these days immerse themselves in MTV watching My Super Sweet 16 or Cribs. These shows highlight the materialistic things in life, the flashy cars, the big swimming pools, the huge mansions. It is as if you must have these things if you want to have fun.

Don’t get me started on how kids now know the main characters of Sex and The City and how Aquaman was a successful hit in Entourage. In our days, the horniest character we know is this smooth fellow:

Imagine this, years from now, your 12 year old daughter comes to you and says: “I wanna be just like Carrie Bradshaw”
How would you respond?

Do you remember back in the day when KTV used to play the national anthem at  midnight and in the early morning when the channel starts airing, i wonder why they stopped that… i know that channels today are twenty four hours but that still doesn’t justify not airing the national anthem, i really hope they do bring that long lost tradition back because when i remember the times the national anthem was played with the waiving flag and the picture of the late Amir Jaber Al Ahmed it gives you that sense of pride and patriotism and a general “feel good” feeling singing the national anthem along with the tune….hopefully someone will read the post, do something about it, bring us back our national anthem and play it to us everyday!

Mygulfcar.com is a new site that offers you new ways to find used cars. It  has a really good presentation image and easy to use site. I like how it gives you the chose to choose Kuwait or all GCC countries this gives the customer a better range to look for something. I did some searching around and I noticed that the team from Mygulfcar.com needs to put more info about the details of the car; many of the fields had N/A. Also one thing that I recommend is when you do a search on BMW M series you will get a list of M series cars but you need to specify in the list what type of M series it is. The site has good search tools to help you find the best car for you. I like how the main menu bar has many tools like sell a car, services and request a car I personally really like this site and will definitely recommend it to everyone and also give the site 2 thumps up.

Some things in life are just not meant to be…lets take this ugly thing pictured above for example; why would some one take a beautifully designed Bentley GT, chop it up and make it into this monstrosity.. now i know people have different tastes and different likings, and some were smacked on the head a few too many times when they were young, that i found out because someone in the diwaniya said it was simply awesome even when we told him that the mashed up version of the Bentley goes for KWD 250,000!! so what do you make out of it?!

I’ve been a collector of headphones for quite a while now, i don’t know why… and my compulsive disorder when it comes to music and the gadgets that come along with it is reaching an all time high.  Now I’ve tried and own a fair share of headphones like the Dre Beats, the Sony’s, and the Bose but the Skull-candy Aviator headphones have got to be the coolest headphones to soon hit the stores and i cant wait to get my hands on some sweet Skull-candy…  The headphones were co-developed by the Jigga man Jay Z and Skull-candy; here’s a quick look at the features: over-the-ear ‘phones sport 40mm full-rage mylar drivers, an aviator-inspired contoured fit, a tangle-free nylon cable,a glossy polycarbonate speaker housing with stainless steel and aluminum accents, and a padded carrying case.  Coming June 2010.
