Most of you have already read whatever there is to read about the new iphone. But that did not prevent me from giving my two cents. I finally got my hands on one and decided to do a quick, picture comparison between the 3Gs and the iphone 4. The phone on the left is the iphone 4 and the other is the 3Gs, you can easily see how the iphone 4 boasts a more crisp and clear display. When they said that it is 4 times sharper than the 3Gs, they were right.

It must be said that the picture still doesn’t do the iphone 4 any justice. To fully understand the new display, you should place the two devices side by side and judge for yourself.

Oh, and another thing, the fiasco regarding the phone’s reception is really true, whenever I hold the phone in a ‘wrong’ way, the reception disappears mere seconds later.  There should be a chapter explaining the proper way of holding the iphone in the user manual.

There is an email circling around claiming that Oreo is not halal and dont eat it. The email comes with a link claiming the confirmation. I went through the [link] and here is what’s written:

Is Oreo halal?

Oreo products on general sale in the UK and Ireland are suitable for a Muslim diet and they are made without pork derivatives or alcohol. However the products are not halal-certified.

It says that Oreos are suitable for a Muslim diet, so why the chain mail? Did they ignore the part written in bold and concentrated on the last sentence only?

If there aren’t any pork derivatives or alcohol in its ingredients, do we need a Halal sticker on the packaging? We’re talking about chocolate cookies!
