4th Ring Road Diwaniya World Cup: Update

We are proud to say that our diwaniya competition is in its last stages!
As expected, the favorites to win this competition are to battle it out in the final match, the finalists are Holland and Argentina and the match is to take place tomorrow night to determine who are the kings of the Diwaniya World Cup.
Here is a quick brief of what happened in the qualifying stages:
1. Ivory Coast almost scored an injury-time, extra time equalizer in their first match against Argentina.
2. Brazil (Underdogs) were very close to pull off a giant-kill against Holland (Favorites) when their match went into penalties.
3. Vuvuzelas (the real ones and the iphone apps) did what they do best, that is to annoy the competitors by creating a World Cup atmosphere.
4. Spectator pressure was also in full force with a lot of clapping and jeering.
5. Many expletives were blurted out by the competitors and some even engaged in heated ‘tactical’ arguments during the games.
We would like to say congratulations to MS, Saud R, Souliman and Bo Nawaf for reaching the finals.
We would also like to say to our dear readers who voted for Holland and Argentina good luck! You might be one of the lucky ones to get a free World Cup shirt from Soccer Scene! :)
