It turns out that Al Sayer Group took the franchise rights to the Cheese Cake Factory in the Middle East. They were unfortunately just given the bakery. They will start selling a variety of cakes starting on March 29 thoughout all their major outlets. A slice of cake will be sold from 1.750 to 1.950 depending on type, they even deliver whole cakes ranging from KD15-18, not so bad . If in the future the Cheese Cake Factory decides to go abroad we might get their restaurant here in Kuwait . It turns out that the Cheese Cake Factory in Al Rashed Mall (Shargeya) is just a reseller according to the source. Good luck Al Sayer.

    We already have cakes in Kuwait that are freshly made and delicious and cost less than KD 15. Why put so much effort in bringing in something in which there’s already plenty of competition?

    They recive the cakes frozen as the rest of the branches in the states do, they then thaw it in the fridge and u get a fresh slice of cake. I’m sure this approach will increase sales at caribou which I love, btw try their coffe called breve, amazing

    hey 1001nights:
    they brought here because of there reputation…… Retard!

    Hello Common Sense,

    In your sentence “there” must be spelled with an ‘i’ so it’s “their reputation” rather than “there reputation” which is incorrect. Moreover the entire sentence is incomplete as you need to add a “them” or “Cheesecake Factory” after you say “brought”. So the correct way to say what you’re trying to say is as follows: “They brought them here because of their reputation.”

    After that please do feel free to call me a retard. :)

    Could someone please educate me as to where Caribou coffee comes in with all this? I mean will they be the ones to sell the cakes from their outlets or will CCF have their own branches opening up?

    Come on…

    Local cake places are already selling their cakes for KD 15+, and that’s before having a reputation or a name.

    So selling a cheese cake factory cake for KD 15 seems reasonable.

    First of all, I think there are some people here in q8 already selling cheescake factory “cakes” for 25 Kd I think .. but if it’s frozen, it’s frozen! It’s sucks! nothing can be compared to fresh, creamy taste right out of the oven! :)

    @nym

    what rest of the branches? do you mean cheescake factory branches? they make them daily at the restaurants but if you mean Coffee shops that sells cakes provided by cheescake factory it’s still a no. They get them fresh daily!
