Traffic

Has anybody noticed the traffic in kuwait has increased a lot? It use take me 5 mins to get home from work now it takes 25mins!! And for the first time I have seen traffic at 10 p.m. Which is new to me.

I remember back in the first semester it used to take me exactly 15 minute to get to college from home. No more no less. Every single day.
Tha was just 2 monthes ago.
Now, it takes me 45 minutes!! WTH is going on?

Yes. Traffic indeed has increased including accidents. If you were to look at everyone who is next to you on the road you’ll see that nobody car pools and it’s just 1 person driving a single car. Hence why you have an overload. I want to say that people should use public transportation but it sucks. I’ve tried it lots of times and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you know exactly what your doing.

50,000 people enter Kuwait every year to work. Cars are cheap. Licenses are bought.
Our population has gone up 1 million since 1999 from what I heard.
Kuwait’s infrastructure – water, electricity, roads etc – was intended for at best 1.5 million not 3.4 million people. So its also lack of government planning and no real solutions to traffic problems.

yeah ,, WTH ,, traffic at 10 AM !!!!
i took late lectures these smester to escape traffice ,, just to be shocked it’s still the same traffic 3 hours late !

How can traffic triple over the course of 3 months?

Traffic sucks big time and a genius solution that terminates this sucky problem will deserve a Nobel prize for peace hehehe
